Overview
Our intensive Carpentry & Joinery Program is meticulously designed to meet quality international standards and prepare students for a career in professional woodworking and carpentry. The program begins with a foundational month, equipping students with critical skills in workplace safety, tool usage, and site preparation. This phase ensures every participant understands the basics of carpentry and the importance of precision.
The subsequent four months focus on advanced skills, including intricate joinery techniques, furniture construction, cabinetry, and wood finishing. Students will also be introduced to Computer-Aided Design (CAD), which plays a pivotal role in modern woodworking by enhancing accuracy and efficiency in project design and execution. Sustainability is at the core of the curriculum, with eco-friendly material selection and techniques integrated throughout the program.
In the final month, participants undertake an apprenticeship with industry professionals, working on real-world projects to refine their skills and develop workplace competencies. Additionally, students receive business training covering customer service, marketing, and project management, empowering them to either excel in employment or launch their own businesses.
